Oxford University Press Journals: negotiations failed
The negotioations on the access to and the open access publishing in the journals of Oxford University Press failed. There is no contractual basis for the access to the articles published from 2022.
More than three years of negotiations by the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries on on the access to and the open access publishing in the journals of Oxford University Press did not achive an offer sustainable for the academic libraries and complying with the swissuniversities guidelines, which stipulate a cost-neutral implementation of the Open Access strategy. On these grounds, the negotiations were abandoned. There is no contractual basis for the access to the articles published behind a paywall from 2022. However, access rights for articles published before 2022 are granted. Access to OUP e-books and databases are not affectd. Related information:
