_{The provisions in the usage regulations were amended when the University Library Basel joined SLSP (Swiss Library Service Platform) on 7 December, 2020. Registration procedures will change from 7 December, 2020:}

• _{Registration is required in order to make use of services via the library management system. The SWITCH edu-ID is used for this purpose. Registration is carried out by the users themselves.}
• _{By registering, the user gives consent for the use of personal data in the library management system, to its terms of use and to the existing terms and conditions. Users are responsible for updating their personal data themselves.}
• _{Registration and use of the libraries is free of charge.}

Loans and orders from swisscovery Basel (applies to all participating libraries in swisscovery Basel) executed from 7 December 2020, are subject to the rates as set out here.}
