Overview
Scientific literature is one of many areas transformed by the increasing use of artificial intelligence tools. Large language models such as ChatGPT enable an easy and quick creation of texts on scientific topics. While this is an advantage if used in a meaningful way, it is also likely to exacerbate existing problems with the quality of scientific publications under the “publish or perish” paradigm.
