Overview
The rise of artificial intelligence has transformed academic research, providing tools that can draft literature reviews in minutes. However, automating reviews beyond the drafting stage is more complex and more controversial. Can and should AI replace human work in literature reviews, or is it best suited as a supporting tool? How much human oversight is required? Will AI help us develop new types and formats of reviews? Various aspects of this current discussion will be explored.
