New access to more than 1'000 e-textbooks by Pearson
Many publishers do not offer licences for e-textbooks to libraries at all, others restrict usage and some charge prohibitive fees. There are a few exceptions though, e.g. Springer and Thieme. Recently, Univ. Library closed an agreement with Pearson for the access to more than 1'000 textbooks covering various fields, in english and in german. During the contract term, all e-books are accessible, selected titles permanently.
