INSPEC Direct
INSPEC Direct und INSPEC Analytics are available in addition to INSPEC in Web of Science.
INSPEC indexes the scientific publications in physics and related fields, e.g. astronomy or computer science. The relevant scientific articles are indexed by specialists in the subject area. Hence, INSPEC is able to find journal articles, conference proceedings, patents etc. that get overlooked by other search engines. Furthermore, the search is limited to approved scientific sources. These date back to 1898 using digitized volumes of Physics Abstracts and Science Abstracts.
The database is presently availabe in Web of Science. Now, the original platform INSPEC Direct and the bibliometric analyses INSPEC Analytics are offered additionally.
