Procedure for creating an account

For students of human medicine and nursing sciences, as well as master’s students of pharmacy at the University of Basel:

• Create an account within the university network (you can also do this from home using a VPN).
• Enter your personal University of Basel email address (@stud.unibas.ch).
• Specify your field of study in your profile.
• After successfully logging in, you can use Amboss at any time outside the university network as well.
• Every few months, Amboss requires you to log into your account within the university network to re-certify it.

• If you experience problems with your account, you can either contact Amboss directly (hallo@amboss.com) or the Infodesk of the University Medical Library (info-medb@unibas.ch).

For lecturers in human medicine at the University of Basel:

• To create an account, please email institutionen@amboss.com directly from your personal University of Basel email address.
