Systematic reviews: Why they are important and how the University Medical Library can support your review

Part of the series "Coffee Lectures Health & Science"

Overview
Ideally, all experience on a specific subject should be taken into account when making medical decisions. Of course, this is easier said than done. This is exactly where systematic reviews come in. A well-done systematic review can save you the time of having to find, read and compare dozens of primary trials. But when is a systematic review "done well"? This short session will explore this topic and introduce the UB Medicine support service that helps researchers and health professionals with their own systematic reviews.

Lecturer
PD Dr. Christian Appenzeller-Herzog, Medical Information Specialist

Target group
Anyone who wishes to make use of either a wide range of literature, or of literature that is as comprehensive as possible concerning a specific topic.
